The details of the soundtrack album for the Icelandic romantic drama Touch have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Högni Egilsson (Under the Tree, Against the Current). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 12 by Back Lot Music and will be available to stream/download here. The label has previously released the composer’s love theme (Broken Thread) as a digital single last Friday. Touch is co-written and directed by Baltasar Kormákur and stars Egill Olafsson, Kōki, Masahiro Motoki, Sigurdur Ingvarsson, Yoko Narahashi and Palmi Kormakur. The movie is based on Ólafur Jóhann Ólafsson’s bestselling novel of the same name and tells the story of a widower’s journey to find his first love who disappeared 50 years ago, before his time runs out. The drama opened Icelandic theaters this past May and is being released in U.S. theaters this weekend by Focus Features.
