David Fleming (The Last of Us, Damsel, Blue Planet II, Hillbilly Elegy, The Unforgivable, The Night Logan Woke Up, Jim Henson Idea Man) is scoring the upcoming sci-fi feature Bando Stone & The New World. The film is directed by Donald Glover (Atlanta) and stars Glover himself, Jessica Allain and Legend. No plot details have been announced yet for the movie, which will accompanied by a new album/soundtrack from Glover as Childish Gambino. Evi Wilder wrote the screenplay. Javier Alejandro and Roisín Audrey Moloney are producing the project. Fleming has previously scored this year’s Glover-produced and -starring Prime Video series Mrs. & Mrs. Smith, which has recently been renewed for a second season. Bando Stone & The New World will be released in IMAX theaters later this year.
Fleming’s other upcoming projects include Barry Levinson’s Alto Knights, which is set to be released in theaters nationwide on March 21, 2025 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
