Milan Records will release the official soundtrack for the action comedy Thelma. The album features the film’s original music composed by Nick Chuba (Shogun, The Girl from Plainville, Dr. Death, Appendage, Operation Varsity Blues). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 21 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Thelma is written and directed by Josh Margolin and stars June Squibb, Fred Hechinger, Richard Roundtree, Clark Gregg, Parker Posey, Nicole Byer and Malcolm McDowell. The movie follows a feisty 93-year-old grandmother who gets conned by a phone scammer pretending to be her grandson and sets out on a quest across Los Angeles, accompanied by an aging friend and his motorized scooter, to reclaim what was taken from her.The comedy premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Magnolia Pictures.
