Intrada Records has announced a reissue of the soundtrack album for David Lynch’s 1999 drama The Straight Story starring Richard Farnsworth, Sissy Spacek and Harry Dean Stanton. The album features the film’s original music composed by Angelo Badalamenti (Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive, The Beach, Wild at Heart, The City of Lost Children, A Very Long Engagement). The CD, which includes the same content as the (now out of print) original 1999 soundtrack album (released by Windham Hill Records) with new liner notes and cover art, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. The soundtrack will also be released digitally for the first time (check back on this page for the streaming/download link). The Straight Story is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
