Grammy Award-winning System Of A Down lead singer Serj Tankian and Vincent Pedulla have composed the original music for the upcoming Netflix original documentary series Hitler and the Nazis: Evil on Trial. The show is directed by Joe Berlinger (Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes, Paradise Lost trilogy) and examines Adolf Hitler and the Nazis’ rise, rule and reckoning from pre-WWII to the Holocaust to the Nuremberg trials. The 6-parter explores the shocking rise and fall of Hitler and his enablers who were fueled through propaganda, censorship and a campaign of antisemitism through the framing of the trials and eyewitness testimony of American journalist William L. Shirer. Berlinger is also executive producing the Smuggler Entertainment and Third Eye Motion Picture Company production with Tim Pastore & Patrick Milling-Smith (Messi’s World Cup: The Rise of a Legend, One Strange Rock), Matt Renner (Welcome to Earth, Mars) and Yoshi Stone. Tankian (Truth to Power, I Am Not Alone, Furious) has previously collaborated with Berlinger on the docuseries Madoff: The Monster of Wall Street, as well as Crime Scene: The Texas Killing Fields & The Time Square Killer, which he co-scored with Pedulla. Hitler and the Nazis: Evil on Trial will premiere on June 5, 2024 exclusively on Netflix.
