Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Obliterated, Fright Krewe, Good Sam, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, Florida Man) has been tapped to score the upcoming Netflix documentary series America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. The show is directed by Greg Whiteley (Cheer, Last Chance U) and follows the 2023-24 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders squad from start to finish, kicking off at auditions and training camp and continuing all the way through the NFL season. The 7-parter reveals the personal stories behind the uniforms – revealing the drive, drama and hustle among the cheerleaders and coaches. Whiteley is also executive producing the project with Adam Leibowitz for One Potato Productions, as well as Andrew Fried and Dane Lillegard (Welcome to Wreckham, Encounters) for Boardwalk Pictures, Ross M. Dinerstein (Players, Rattlesnake) and Rebecca Evans (Poisoned: The Dirty Truth About Your Food, Hysterical) for Campfire Studios. Robinson has previously collaborated with the Whiteley on last year’s docuseries Wrestlers. America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders will premiere this summer on Netflix.
Robinson also continues to co-score Netflix’s Cobra Kai, which will return for the first part of its sixth and final season on July 18.
