Atresmúsica will release a soundtrack album for the animated feature Dragonkeeper. The album features the film’s original music composed by Arturo Cardelús (Buñuel in the Labyrinth of the Turtles, Black Beach, Descendants: The Royal Wedding, In a Heartbeat). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 19 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Listen to the composer’s end credits track below. Dragonkeeper is directed by Salvador Simó & Li Jianping and features the voices of Bill Nighy, Bill Bailey, Anthony Howell and Mayalinee Griffiths. The Spanish/Chinese co-production based on Carole Wilkinson’s series of fantasy novels tells the story of fiery young girl who rebels when ancient China falls under the rule of an evil Emperor and – alongside a powerful dragon – embarks on a journey to recover the last remaining dragon egg and save the world. The animated fantasy adventureis opening in Spanish theaters this weekend and film will be released in U.S. theaters on May 3 by Viva Pictures.
