Michael Lira (Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead, Interceptor, The Hunter, Black Water: Abyss, Growing Up Smith, Nekrotronic) has composed the original score for the new Netflix original film Woody Woodpecker Goes to Camp. The movie is directed by Jonathan A. Rosenbaum (Cop and a Half: New Recruit, Benchwarmers 2: Breaking Balls) and stars Chloe De Los Santos, Josh Lawson, as well as Eric Bauza (as the voice of Woody), Kevin Michael Richardson and Tom Kenny. The live-action/animated hybrid family comedy follows the title character who – after getting kicked out of the forest – thinks he’s found a forever home at Camp Woo Hoo, until an inspector threatens to shut down the camp. Jon Kuyper (The Sandlot: Heading Home) is producing the Universal 1440 Entertainment production. Woody Woodpecker Goes to Camp will premiere next Friday, April 12 on Netflix.
