Adam Janota Bzowski (Saint Maud, The Marsh King’s Daughter, Out of Darkness, Black Mirror: Loch Henry, Here Before) has provided the original score for the upcoming psychological thriller The Wasp. The film is directed by Guillem Morales (Julia’s Eyes, The Uninvited Guest) and stars Naomie Harris and Natalie Dormer. The movie revolves around two women who agree to meet after having not spoken in years, when one of them presents a very unexpected proposition that will change their lives forever. Morgan Lloyd Malcolm (Obsession) wrote the screenplay based on his play. Nate Bolotin (Mandy) & Maxime Cottray (Dual) are producing the project with XYZ Films, alongside James Harris (Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, Fall) & Leonora Darby (A Banquet, Into the Deep) for Tea Shop Productions, Sean Sorensen (Black and Blue, Worth) for Royal Viking Entertainment and Matthew B. Schmidt for Paradise City. The Wasp will be released in U.S. theaters this summer by Shout! Studios.
Bzowski has also recently scored the British revenge thriller Femme, which has just been released in U.S. theaters by Utopia.
