Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the psychological thriller Mothers’ Instinct. The album features the film’s original music composed by Anne Nikitin (American Animals, The Dropout, Hijack, Fate: The Winx Saga, I.S.S., Dangerous Liaisons, Mrs. Wilson, Lost Girls, The Pale Horse). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 29 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. Mothers’ Instinct marks the directorial debut of cinematographer Benoît Delhomme and stars Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Josh Charles and Anders Danielsen Lie. The movie follows two neighbors and best friends whose perfect lives in ‘60s suburbia are shattered by a tragic accident involving one of their children. The thriller just opened in UK theaters yesterday and will be released in the U.S. later this year by Neon.
