Platoon will release a soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ limited series Manhunt. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by The National’s Bryce Dessner (The Two Popes, Bardo, The Kitchen, A Good Person, Irresistible). Also included is the conspiracy thriller’s theme song (entitled Egún) written and performed by Danielle Ponder. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 15. Manhunt is created by Monica Beletsky based on the nonfiction book Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln’s Killer by James L. Swanson and stars Tobias Menzies, Anthony Boyle, Lovie Simone, Brandon Flynn, Will Harrison, Damian O’Hare, Patton Oswalt, Glenn Morshower, Matt Walsh and Hamish Linklater. The 7-parter tells the story of the hunt for John Wilkes Booth in the aftermath of Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. The series will premiere tomorrow exclusively on Apple TV+.
