Johan Söderqvist (Let the Right One In, Madame Web, Kon-Tiki, Anatomy of a Scandal, Battlefield V, After the Wedding, In a Better World) is the composer of the new Swedish Netflix original series Ronja the Robber’s Daughter (Ronja Rövardotter). The show is written by Hans Rosenfeldt (Marcella, The Burning Girls) based on the fantasy tale by Astrid Lindgren and stars Kerstin Linden, Jack Bergenholtz-Henriksson, Christopher Wagelin, Krista Kosonen, Sverrir Gudnason, Maria Nohra, Pernilla August, Vera Vitali and Johan Ulveson. The fantasy adventure directed by Lisa James Larsson (Ego) follows the adventures of a spirited and rebellious girl born into a gang of robbers in a medieval Scandinavian castle who discovers the magical, but dangerous forest with its strange and mysterious creatures. Bonnie Skoog Feeney and Mattias Arehn are producing the project. Part 1 of Ronja the Robber’s Daughter will premiere on March 28, 2024 and Part 2 will debut later this year exclusively on Netflix.
