22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the French historical drama Madame de Sévigné. The album features the film’s original music composed by Florencia di Concilio (The Five Devils, Calamity, Maestro(s), The Super 8 Years, Dark Blood). Madame de Sévigné is co-written and directed by Isabelle Brocard and stars Karin Viard, Ana Girardot, Cédric Kahn and Noémie Lvovsky. The movie is set at the court of French King Louis XIV and centers on the relationship between the Marquise de Sévigné and her rebellious daughter. The drama premiered at last year’s Angoulême Francophone Film Festival and just opened in French theaters last week.
