Walt Disney Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Disney+ original animated event series Iwájú. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Ré Olunuga (Rise, Girl, Coming from Insanity, Up North). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 1 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Iwájú written by Olufikayo Ziki Adeola & Halima Hudson and features the voice talent of Simisola Gbadamosi, Dayo Okeniyi, Femi Branch, Siji Soetan and Weruche Opia. The Walt Disney Animation Studios and Kugali production is set in a futuristic Lagos, Nigeria and tells the coming-of-age story follows a young girl from the wealthy island, and her best friend, a self-taught tech expert, as they discover the secrets and dangers hidden in their different worlds. . The 6-part series just premiered yesterday and is now available to stream on Disney+.
