Composer Keegan DeWitt (Hearts Beat Loud, I’ll See You in My Dreams, A Teacher, Sorry for Your Loss, Love Again, Divorce) is reteaming with director Chad Hartigan on the upcoming romantic comedy The Threesome. The film starring Zoey Deutch, Jonah Hauer-King, Ruby Cruz, Jaboukie Young-White & Josh Segarra explores the aftermath of an unexpected threesome that leaves all three participants with sobering real-world consequences, forcing them to take responsibility for their actions. Ethan Ogilby wrote the screenplay. Tim White & Trevor White (King Richard, Ingrid Goes West) are producing the project for Star Thrower Entertainment, alongside Vince Jolivette (Zola, Future World) for Filmopoly, as well as Steven Shapiro (The Road Dance) for Jupiter Peak. DeWitt has previously scored Hartigan’s previous features, including This Is Martin Bonner, Morris from America and Little Fish. The Threesome just finished principal photography and is currently in post-production.
DeWitt’s other recent projects include Brittany Snow’s feature directorial debut Parachute, which premiered at last year’s SXSW Film Festival and is currently awaiting a release date.
