Sam Ewing (Last Seen Alive, The Shed, Beautiful Disaster, Victor Crawley) is the composer of the new AMC limited series The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. Bear McCreary (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Outlander, 10 Cloverfield Lane) is producing Ewing’s score for the 6-part show, which stars Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira who reprise their roles of “Rick Grimes” and “Michonne” from the original The Walking Dead series. They are joined by Pollyanna McIntosh, Terry O’Quinn, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Matthew August Jeffers, Craig Tate and Andrew Bachelor. Scott M. Gimple serves as the project’s showrunner and is also executive producing the AMC Studios production with Lincoln, Gurira, Denise Huth, Brian Bockrath (The Walking Dead: Dead City & World Beyond) and Greg Nicotero (Fear the Walking Dead, Creepshow). Ewing has previously co-scored the final seasons of the original The Walking Dead series with McCreary and also contributed additional music to earlier seasons. The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live will premiere on February 25 on AMC and will also be available to stream on AMC+.
Ewing has also recently scored Roger Kumble’s Beautiful Wedding, which opened in theaters last month and has just been released on VOD yesterday.
