David Fleming (The Last of Us, The Unforgivable, Blue Planet II, Hillbilly Elegy, The Night Logan Woke Up, The Perfect Guy) has been tapped to score the upcoming gangster drama Alto Knights. The film is directed by Barry Levinson (Rain Man, Good Morning, Vietnam) and stars Robert De Niro, Debra Messing, Kathrine Narducci and Cosmo Jarvis. The movie centers on two of New York’s most notorious organized crime bosses, Frank Costello and Vito Genovese, and explores how their separate paths to power place them on a deadly collision course. Nicholas Pileggi (Goodfellas, Casino) wrote the screenplay. Irwin Winkler (Rocky, Raging Bull) and Jason Sosnoff (The Survivor, The Humbling) are producing the project. Alto Knights is set to be released in theaters on November 15, 2024 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
Fleming’s upcoming feature projects also include Juan Carlos Fresnadillo’s fantasy adventure Damsel, which will premiere on March 8 on Netflix. He has also recently scored Prime Video’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith TV series, which just premiered last Friday.
