Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Iron Man, Pacific Rim, Uncharted, Eternals, Clash of the Titans, A Wrinkle in Time) has recently been scoring the upcoming Prime Video original series Fallout. The show is based on the video game series of the same title and and stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Michael Emerson, Sarita Choudhury, Frances Turner, Leslie Uggams, Dave Register, Johnny Pemberton, Zach Cherry, Rodrigo Luzzi, Xelia Mendes-Jones and Annabel O’Hagan. The drama is set a hundred years after the apocalypse and follows the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters as they are forced to return to the hellscape their ancestors left behind – and are shocked to discover a complex and highly violent universe waiting for them. Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel, Tomb Raider) & Graham Wagner (Portlandia) serve as the project’s showrunners and are also executive producing the Amazon MGM Studio production with Jonathan Nolan (The Dark Knight, Interstellar) & Lisa Joy (The Peripheral), as well as Kilter Films’ Athena Wickham, Bethesda Game Studios’ Todd Howard and Bethesda Softworks’ James Altman. Nolan also directed the first three episodes. Djawadi has previously collaborated with Nolan & Joy and HBO’s Westworld, CBS’ Person of Interest and the 2021 feature Reminiscence. Fallout will premiere on April 12, 2024 exclusively on Prime Video.
Djawadi also has Pixar Animation Studios’ Disney+ series Win or Lose (to premiere later this year) coming up. He is also returning to score the second season of HBO’s House of the Dragon, which is also expected to debut this year.
