Nathan Larson (Dirty Pretty Things, Boys Don’t Cry, Margin Call, Tigerland, Vinyl, Juliet, Naked) is the composer of the upcoming HBO original documentary series The Synanon Fix. The show is directed by Rory Kennedy (Last Days in Vietnam, Downfall: The Case Against Boeing, Ghosts of Abu Ghraib) and explores the rise and fall of the Synanon organization through the eyes of the members who lived it, from its origin as a groundbreaking drug rehabilitation program to its later descent into what many consider a cult. Nancy Abrahams & Lisa Heller (I’ll Be Gone in the Dark, Telemarketers) and Mark Bailey (The Volcano: Rescue from Whakaari) are executive producing the HBO Documentary Films and Moxie Films production. Randall Poster & Meghan Currier serve as the project’s music supervisors. The first two episodes of The Synanon Fix will premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and the full series will debut later this year on HBO.
