440Hz/Grande Ourse have released a soundtrack album for the French drama Spirit of Ecstasy (La Vénus d’argent). The album features the film’s original music composed by Aamourocean (aka Ulysse Klotz) (Diamantino, Terrible Jungle, Atomic Age). Spirit of Ecstasy is co-written and directed by Héléna Klotz and stars Claire Pommet, Niels Schneider, Anna Mouglalis, Sofiane Zermani, Grégoire Colin, as well as Mathieu Amalric. The movie revolves a young non-binary person who lives on a military base with an abrasive father who forced to care for their younger siblings while dreaming of becoming a financial analyst. The drama premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival and was released in French theaters last Wednesday.
