Ecce Films has released a soundtrack album for the fantasy adventure She Is Conann (Conann). The album features the film’s original music composed by Pierre Desprats (Olga, Rouge, The Wild Boys, Perfect Nanny, The Cow Who Sang a Song Into the Future). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (or most other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. She Is Conann is written and directed by Bertrand Mandico and stars Elina Löwensohn, Christa Theret, Julia Riedler, Sandra Parfait, Claire Duburcq, Agata Buzek, Françoise Brion, Nathalie Richard, Audrey Bonnet and Christophe Bier. The movie is based loosely on the myth of Conan the Barbarian and follows the titular Conann throughout various eras, from prehistoric times to a gritty, warped 1980s New York. The film premiered at this year’s Cannes’ Directors’ Fortnight and is being released in French theaters today. Altered Innocence has picked up domestic distribution rights for a release in the U.S. in 2024.
