Back Lot Music will release the official soundtrack for Illumination Entertainment’s animated feature Migration. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee John Powell (How to Train Your Dragon, The Bourne Identity, Shrek, Solo: A Star Wars Story, United 93, Rio, Happy Feet, Horton Hears a Who!). Also included is the cover of Destiny’s Child’s Survivor (in two different versions) performed by Mon Laferte. The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 15. Migration is directed by Benjamin Renner and features the voice talent of Kumail Nanjiani, Elizabeth Banks, Awkafina, Keegan-Michael Key, Caspar Jennings, David Mitchell, Tresi Gazal and Danny DeVito. The animated adventure tells the story of a family of ducks who try to convince their overprotective father to embark on the vacation of a lifetime. The animated film will be released in theaters nationwide on December 22 by Universal Pictures.
