The full details of the soundtrack album for the British Apple TV+ original series The Buccaneers have been revealed. The album features the songs from the show’s first season performed by Emily Kokal, Lucius, Sharon Van Etten, Alison Mosshart, Sedona, Bully, Danielle Ponder, Sarah Walk and Gracie Abrams. Also included are selections of the drama’s original score composed by AVAWAVES (aka Aisling Brouwer & Anna Phoebe). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Wednesday, November 8 by Interscope Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (What We Wanna by Miya Folick) has already been released earlier this month. The Buccaneers is created by Katherine Jakeways inspired by an unfinished novel by Edith Wharten and stars Kristine Frøseth, Alisha Boe, Christina Hendricks, Imogen Waterhouse, Josie Totah and Aubri Ibrag, Josh Dylan, Guy Remmers, Barney Fishwick and Matthew Broome. The drama revolves around a group of fun-loving young American girls who explode into the tightly corseted London season of the 1870s. The series will premiere on November 8 exclusively on Apple TV+.
