Netflix Music will release the official soundtrack album for the streamer’s original animated series Blue Eye Samurai. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Amie Doherty (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Spirit Untamed, Undone, Happiest Season, The High Note). Also included is cover version of Metallica’s For Whom the Bell Tolls performed by Emi Meyer. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 27 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Blue Eye Samurai is created by Amber Noizumi & Michael Green and features the voices of Maya Erskine, Brenda Song, Kenneth Branagh, Masi Oka, George Takei, Darren Barnet, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa and Randall Park. The animated action drama is set in Edo-period Japan and tells the story of a young warrior who – driven by a dream of revenge against those who made her an outcast – cuts a bloody path toward her destiny. The series will premiere next Friday, November 3 exclusively on Netflix.
