Geffen Records has released the new version of The Hanging Tree from the film adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. The track (originally written by Collins & Wesley Schultz for 2014’s The Hunger Games: Mockinjay – Part 1) is produced by Dave Cobb and performed by lead actress Rachel Zegler and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes is directed by Francis Lawrence and also stars Tom Blyth, Peter Dinklage, Josh Andrés Rivera, Hunter Schafer, Jason Schwartzman and Viola Davis. The movie will be released in theaters nationwide on November 17 by Lionsgate.
