Siddhartha Khosla (Only Murders in the Building, This Is Us, Welcome to Chippendales, Rabbit Hole, Queenpins, Looking for Alaska) is scoring the upcoming animated feature Pookoo. The film is directed by Nathan Greno (Tangled, Tangled Ever After) and tells the story of a small woodland creature and a majestic bird that magically trade places and set off on an adventure of a lifetime. The animated comedy is produced by Skydance Animation’s John Lasseter (Toy Story, A Bug’s Life, Cars), David Ellison (Top Gun: Maverick, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation) Dana Goldberg (The Adam Project, The Tomorrow War) and Mary Ellen Bauder Andrews (Smurfs: The Lost Village). Pookoo marks Skydance Animation’s third feature following last year’s Luck (scored by John Debney) and next year’s Spellbound (feat. songs and score by Alan Menken) and is set to premiere in 2025 on Netflix.
Khosla has also recently scored the third season of Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building, which has just been renewed for a fourth season.
