Tom Howe (Ted Lasso, Early Man, Shrinking, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, Daisy Jones & the Six) has composed the original music for the new Netflix original documentary The Devil on Trial. The film is written and directed by Chris Holt (The Hillside Strangler, Elizabeth I) and explores the first – and only – time “demonic possession” has officially been used as a defense in a US murder trial. The movie uses reenactments and home videos to investiagte the apparent possession of a young boy and the brutal murder that followed. Hattie Bridges Webb is producing the project and Julia Nottingham & Sam Starbuck serve as executive producers. The Devil on Trial is premiering today on Netflix.
