Elliot Leung (Operation Red Sea, The Rescue, Warriors of Future) has composed the original score for the upcoming action comedy Freelance. Geoff Zanelli (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Disturbia, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Christopher Robin) has provided the themes for the movie directed by Pierre Morel (Taken, Peppermint) and starring John Cena, Alison Brie, Juan Pablo Raba, Marton Csokas, Alice Eve and Christian Slater. The film follows an ex special forces operative stuck in a dead-end desk job who reluctantly takes on a job to provide private security for a washed-up journalist as she interviews a ruthless dictator. Jacob Lentz wrote the screenplay and is also producing the Endurance Media production with Steve Richards (Mark Felt, Come Away), Renee Tab (Line of Duty), Christopher Tuffin (The Countess, Overdrive) and Chris Milburn (The Protege, Getaway) are producing the project. Freelance will be released in U.S. theaters on October 6, 2023 by Relativity Media.
