Madison Gate Records has released two soundtrack albums for the Netflix animated series Hilda. The album features the songs (including Grimes’ main title theme) and selections of the score from the first two seasons of the show. Dan Mangan (Hector and the Search for Happiness) and Ryan Carlson (Abby Hatcher, Fuzzly Catcher) composed the music for the first season and Carlson scored the second season. The label has previously released Carlson’s score from the feature Hilda and the Mountain King earlier this year. Hilda is created by Luke Pearson based on his graphic novel series and stars Bella Ramsey, Ameerah Falzon-Ojo, Oliver Nelson, Daisy Haggard and Rasmus Hardiker. The first two seasons of the show are now available to stream on Netflix and a third season is in the works.
