Silva Screen Records will release the official soundtrack album for the BBC natural history series Earth. The album features the show’s original music composed by Paul Saunderson (Three Identical Strangers, Trying, Your Christmas or Mine?, The More You Ignore Me, The Grand Duke of Corsica, Starfish). The soundtrack will be released on August 22 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Earth is presented by Chris Packham, executive produced by Andrew Cohen & Rob Liddell, directed by Tom Hewitson and tells the four and a half billion year story of the planet we call home: Earth. The 5-parter uses immersive cutting-edge CGI that allows viewers to witness the critical moments when Earth’s future, and the life it nurtured, hung in the balance. The series will premiere in the UK on July 17 on BBC Two.
