Johan Söderqvist (Let the Right One In, Kon-Tiki, Anatomy of a Scandal, After the Wedding, Things We Lost in the Fire, Battlefield V) has composed the original music for the upcoming Danish war drama Before It Ends (Når Befrielsen kommer). The film is written and directed by Anders Walter (I Kill Giants) and stars Pilou Asbæk, Katrine Greis-Rosenthal, Peter Kurth, Morten Hee Andersen and Ulrich Thomsen. The movie tells the story of a headmaster couple whose high school is turned into an internment camp for German refugees during World War II and have to decide whether to help the refugees or stand firm in the Danish resistance against the Germans. Miriam Nørgaard (The Exception, The War Show), Mette Høst Hansen and Tomas Radoor (A Hijacking, April 9th) are producing the Nordisk Film production. Before It Ends will be released in Danish theaters on August 24, 2023.
