Hollywood Records has released a digital version of the score album for the 2002 romantic comedy Sweet Home Alabama directed by Andy Tennant and starring Reese Witherspoon, Josh Lucas, Patrick Dempsey, Mary Kay Place, Fred Ward, Jean Smart and Candice Bergen. The album features the original score from the Touchstone Pictures production composed by Academy Award nominee George Fenton (Gandhi, Dangerous Liaisons, Groundhog Day, Anna and the King, The Blue Planet, Hitch). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The album has previously been released as a (now out-of-print) CD edition in early 2003. A separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie was released in the previous year when the movie opened in theaters. Sweet Home Alabama is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
