Composer Mica Levi (Jackie, Monos, Small Axe) is reteaming with director Jonathan Glazer on the upcoming drama The Zone of Interest. The film is written and directed by Glazer and stars Sandra Hüller and Christian Friedel. The movie is loosely based on the novel of the same title by Martin Amis about a Nazi officer who has become enamored with the wife of the commander of the Auschwitz concentration camp. James Wilson (You Were Never Really Here, Waves) and Ewa Puszczyńska (Cold War, The Silent Twins) are producing the project. Levi has previously scored Glazer’s last feature, Under the Skin. The Zone of Interest will premiere next month at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival and will be distributed by A24.
