Filmtrax/Atlantic Screen Music has released a soundtrack album for the crime thriller Devil’s Peak. The album features the film’s original music composed by Adam Spark (of the Australian rock band Birds of Tokyo) who has made his feature scoring debut on the project. Devil’s Peak is directed by Ben Young and stars Billy Bob Thornton, Robin Wright, Hopper Penn, Jackie Earle Haley, Brian d’Arcy James, Emma Booth, Katelyn Nacon, Harrison Gilbertson, David Kallaway and Stephen Matthew Smith. The movie is set deep in the Appalachian Mountains and follows a young man as he desperately tries to escape his meth-dealing kingpin father and long-suffering mother to run off with the girl of his dreams. The thriller was released in select theaters and on VOD this past February by Screen Media Films and will be coming out on Blu-ray and DVD on next Tuesday, April 11.
