Rupert Gregson-Williams (Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Hacksaw Ridge, Smallfoot, The Legend of Tarzan, Over the Hedge) is returning as the composer of the new Netflix original film Murder Mystery 2. The movie is directed by Jeremy Garelick (The Wedding Ringer, The Binge) and stars Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Mark Strong, Adeel Akhtar, Jodie Turner-Smith, Mélanie Laurent, Kuhoo Verma, John Kani, Dany Boon, Enrique Arce and Zurin Villanueva. The comedy sequel follows Nick & Audrey Spitz who have started their own detective agency as they land a career-making case when their billionaire pal is kidnapped from his wedding. James Vanderbilt (Zodiac, Scream VI) wrote the screenplay and is also producing the Happy Madison production with Sandler, Aniston, Allen Covert (Hustle, Pixels), Tripp Vinson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Ready or Not) and James D. Stern (Looper, The Old Man & the Gun). Gregson-Williams has previously scored the original 2019 Murder Mystery and also composed the music for most of Happy Madison’s Sandler-starring features over the last 10+ years, including Click, Bedtime Stories and Just Go with It. Murder Mystery 2 will premiere on March 31, 2023 on Netflix.
