Composer Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, The Greatest Showman, Straight Outta Compton, Lady and the Tramp, The Raid: Redemption) is reteaming with writer/director Brian Duffield on the upcoming sci-fi/horror thriller No One Will Save You. The film is written and directed by Duffield (The Babysitter, Love and Monsters) and stars Kaitlyn Dever as an exiled anxiety-ridden homebody who must battle an alien that has found its way into her home. Tim White & Trevor White (King Richard, Ingrid Goes West) and Allan Mandelbaum (Villains) are producing the Star Thrower Entertainment production. The project has been acquired by 20th Century Studios. Trapanese has previously composed the music for Duffield’s 2020 directorial debut, Spontaneous. He also scored Star Thrower’s 2021 comedy 8-Bit Christmas for the producers. No release date has been announced yet for No One Will Save You.
Trapanese’s other recent projects include Season 2 of Netflix’s Shadow and Bone, which will premiere tomorrow, as well as Season 3 of Netflix’s The Witcher, which will debut later this year. He also recently scored Peter Atencio’s The Machine, which will open in theater nationwide on May 26, 2023.
