Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, March 6 is the British crime comedy drama Holding based on Graham Norton’s novel and starring Conleth Hill, Siobhán McSweeney, Helen Behan, Charlene McKenna and Amy Conroy. The show’s original music is composed by Murray Gold (Doctor Who, Torchwood, Gentleman Jack, Quiz, A Very English Scandal, It’s a Sin). The 4-part series, which follows a police offer who is called to solve a serious crime for the first time in his career, made its UK debut early last year on ITV and is premiering in the U.S on Acorn TV.
Also premiering tomorrow is the HBO/BBC original series Rain Dogs created by Cash Carraway and starring Daisy May Cooper, Jack Farthing, Ronke Adekoluejo, Adrian Edmondson and Fleur Tashjian. Alex Baranowski (True Things, The Windmere Children, Burial, A Perfect Enemy, A Christmas Carol) has composed the show’s original music. Premiering on Friday, March 10, is the Disney+ original movie Chang Can Dunk written and directed by Jingyi Shao and starring Bloom Li, Dexter Darden, Zoe Renee, Ben Wang, Chase Liefeld and Mardy Ma. The film’s original music is composed by Nathan Matthew David (Deadly Class, Young Rock, The Last Word, Slice, Angie Tribeca, Hypnotic). A soundtrack album will be announced soon.
