Radar Films & Gaumont have released a soundtrack album for the French family adventure Belle and Sebastian: Next Generation (Belle et Sébastien, Nouvelle Génération). The album features the film’s original music composed by David Menke (Stung, The Last Days of American Crime, Skylines, Above the Sky). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio samples. Belle and Sebastian: Next Generation is directed by Pierre Coré and stars Michèle Laroque, Robinson Mensah-Rouanet, Alice David, Caroline Anglade and Syrus Shahidi. The movie based on characters from the classic 1966 novel by Cécile Aubry revolves around a 10-year-old boy who spends his vacation in the mountains with his grandmother and aunt and his relationship with a huge dog that has been mistreated by her owner. The film is being released in French theaters today.
