Netflix Music will release the official soundtrack album for the streamer’s limited series From Scratch. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Laura Karpman (Ms. Marvel, Set It Up, What If…?, Why We Hate, Paris Can Wait) and Raphael Saadiq (Lovecraft Country, Insecure, The After Party). Also included are two songs performed by Matteo Bocelli (listen to both tracks below). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 14 and will be available to stream/download here. From Scratch is created by Attica & Tembi Locke based on Tembi’s memoir of the same title and stars Zoe Saldaña, Eugenio Mastrandrea, Keith David, Danielle Deadwyler, Judith Scott, Kellita Smith, Lucia Sardo, Paride Benassai and Roberta Rigano. The romantic drama follows an artist who finds romance with a chef in Italy and embarks on a journey of love, loss, resilience and hope across cultures and continents. The series will premiere next Friday, October 21 on Netflix.
