Fil Eisler (Revenge, Empire, UnReal, Thunder Force, The Titan, Superintelligence) is the composer of the new CBS drama Fire Country. The show is created by Max Thieriot, Joan Rater & Tony Phelan (Grey’s Anatomy, Council of Dads) and stars Thieriot himself, Billy Burke, Kevin Alejandro, Stephanie Arcila, Diane Farr, Jordan Calloway and Jules Latimer. The series revolves around a young convict seeking redemption and a shortened prison sentence by joining a prison release firefighting program in Northern California where he and other inmates are partnered with elite firefighters to extinguish wildfires across the region. Thieriot, Rater & Phelan are also executive producing the project with Jerry Bruckheimer (Top Gun: Maverick, Pirates of the Caribbean), Jonathan Littman (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami) & KristieAnne Reed (Lucifer, CSI: Vegas). Fire Country is premiering tonight on CBS and will also be available to stream on Paramount+.
Eisler also continues to score Netflix’s Outer Banks, which will return for a third season in 2023 and co-score Disney+’s Big Shot, which will return for its second season on October 12. He also has the features Reunion and The Present coming up.
