Lucky Dog & City Slang will release a soundtrack album for Claire Denis’ romantic thriller Stars at Noon. The album features the film’s original music composed by the alternative rock band Tindersticks who previously collaborated with Denis on such movies as Nenette and Boni, Bastards, High Life and this year’s Both Sides of the Blade. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 14 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The title song is already available to stream now and can be checked out after the jump. Stars at Noon is co-written and directed by Denis and stars Margaret Qualley, Joe Alwyn, Danny Ramirez, Benny Safdie and John C. Reilly. The movie based Denis Johnson’s novel of the same name is set in 1984 during the Nicaraguan Revolution and follows a mysterious English businessman and a headstrong American journalist who strike up a passionate romance and become embroiled in a dangerous labyrinth of lies and conspiracies. The thriller premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and will be released in select U.S. theaters on October 14 by A24 before making its debut on Hulu on October 28.
