Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original series Mo. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Common, Karriem Riggins and Patrick Warren (The Chi, Alice, The Old Man). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 9 and will be available to stream/download here. Mo is created by Mohammed Amer & Ramy Youssef and stars Amer himself, Teresa Ruiz, Omar Elba, Farah Bsieso, Cherien Dabis, Tobe Nwigwe, Walt Roberts, Kamal Zayed and Lee Eddy. The comedy drama is set in Texas and follows the title character as he straddles the line between two cultures, three languages and a pending asylum request while hustling to support his Palestinian family. The A24 Television production premiered last month and is now available to stream on Netflix.
