Austin Wintory (Journey, Captain Abu Raed, Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, Abzu, Grace, The Banner Saga) & Susie Seiter (who is best known as an orchestrator and conductor on films including Minions, Jurassic World, Star Trek Into Darkness and the video game Fortnite) have teamed up to score the upcoming Netflix limited series Thai Cave Rescue. The show is created by Michael Russell Gunn & Dana Ledoux Miller and tells the untold stories of the Thai youth soccer team and their coach who got trapped in one of the most dangerous cave systems on Earth in 2018 and the efforts by their families, volunteers from all over the world and the people of Thailand as they work together to save the team. Nattawut ‘Baz’ Poonpiriya (Bad Genius, One for the Road) & Kevin Tancharoen (Fame, Mortal Kombat: Rebirth) have directed the 6-part docudrama, which is executive produced by Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians, In the Heights) & Lance Johnson (Life in Color) for Electric Somewhere, John Penotti (Greta, Uptown Girls) for SK Global Entertainment and Tim Coddington (Cowboy Bebop). Thai Cave Rescue will premiere on September 22, 2022 exclusively on Netflix.
