Heather McIntosh (Compliance, The Art of Self-Defense, Z for Zachariah, The Quarry) & Allyson Newman (Making Waves: The Art of Cinematic Sound, This Thing with Sarah, Kusama: Infinity) have teamed up to score the upcoming Netflix original series Partner Track. The show is developed by Georgia Lee (Red Doors) based on the novel by Helen Wan and stars Arden Cho, Alexandra Turshen, Bradley Gibson, Dominic Sherwood, Rob Heaps, Nolan Gerard Funk, Matthew Rauch and Roby Attal. The drama revolves around a 1st generation Korean American and the first lawyer in her family as she experiences the trials and tribulations of excelling at a prestigious law firm and her goal of making partner. Lee is also executive producing the project with her Sarah Goldfinger (Trinkets), Kim Shumway (The 100), Kristen Campo (See, Truth Be Told), JAX Media’s Tony Hernandez (Emily in Paris, Russian Doll), as well as Julie Anne Robinson (One for the Money) who also directed the first episodes. Partner Track will premiere on August 26, 2022 on Netflix.
McIntosh & Newman also continue to co-score Showtime’s The L Word: Generation Q, which will return for a third season. McIntosh’s recent projects also include the documentary Claydream, which is being released in select theaters this month.
