Sparks and Shadows will release a soundtrack album for the animated feature Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Bear McCreary (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Outlander, The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica, Animal Crackers, Child’s Play, Happy Death Day). Also included are two original songs written by Alan Zachary & Michael Weiner and produced by the songwriters and McCreary: the opening titles track Blazing Samurai (performed by Michael K. Lee) and the end titles song The Coolest Cat (performed by Adrianne Warren). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 15 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank is directed by Rob Minkoff, Mark Koetsier & Chris Bailey and features the voices of Michael Cera, Ricky Gervais, Mel Brooks, George Takei, Gabriel Iglesias, Aasif Mandvi, Djimon Hounsou, Kylie Kuioka, Michelle Yeoh and Samuel L. Jackson. The movie follows a hard-on-his-luck hound who finds himself in a town full of cats who need a hero to defend them from a ruthless villain’s evil plot to wipe their village off the map. The animated comedy is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Paramount Pictures.
