Natalie Holt (Loki, Knightfall, Herself, Journey’s End, Fever Dream, Beecham House, Press) has recently scored the upcoming fantasy comedy The Princess. The film is directed by Le-Van Kiet (Furie, The Requin) and stars Joey King, Dominic Cooper, Olga Kurylenko and Veronica Ng. The movie tells the story of a beautiful, strong-willed princess who is kidnapped and locked in a remote tower of her father’s castle when she refuses to wed the cruel sociopath to whom she is betrothed. Ben Lustig (The Thirst) and Jake Thornton wrote the screenplay. Neal H. Moritz (Fast & Furious series, The Boys, 21/22 Jump Street) and Derek Kolstad (John Wick, Nobody) are producing the 20th Century Studios production. The Princess will premiere on July 1, 2022 exclusively on Hulu.
Holt’s other recent projects include Disney+’s Obi-Wan Kenobi, which just premiered last Friday. The composer will also return to score the second season of Marvel’s Disney+ series Loki.
