Paramount+ has released the opening titles sequence for the streamer’s original series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Emmy Award winner Jeff Russo (Fargo, Legion, The Night Of, The Umbrella Academy, The Man Who Fell to Earth) who previously wrote the themes and scores for Star Trek: Discovery and Picard has composed the main title theme, which features elements of Alexander Courage’s theme from the original Star Trek series. Watch the full sequence after the jump. Russo has also composed the end titles music and Nami Melumad (Star Trek: Prodigy) has written the score for the show. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is based on the years Captain Christopher Pike manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise and stars Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn and Ethan Peck. The series will premiere next Thursday, May 5 exclusively on Paramount+.
