Rich Vreeland (aka Disasterpeace) (It Follows, Under the Silver Lake, Triple Frontier) has composed the original score for the upcoming slasher movie Bodies Bodies Bodies. The film is directed by Halina Reijn (Red Light) and stars Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, Pete Davidson, Rachel Sennott, Chase Sui Wonders, Myha’la Herrold and Lee Pace. The movie follows a group of rich 20-somethings who plan a hurricane party at a remote family mansion, when a party game turns deadly. Kristen Roupenian, Sarah Delappe, Chloe Okuno (Watcher), Joshua Sharp and Aaron Jackson wrote the screenplay. David Hinojosa (First Reformed, Zola) and Ali Herting (When You Finish Saving the World) are producing the A24 production. Bodies Bodies Bodies will premiere this coming Monday at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival and is expected to be released in theaters later this year.
Vreeland’s other recent projects include Dean Fleischer’s animated movie Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, which premiered at last year’s Telluride Film Festival and has been picked up A24 for a release this year.
