Anne Nikitin (American Animals, Mrs. Wilson, Fate: The Winx Saga, Lost Girls, The Pale Horse, Calibre, This Beautiful Fantastic) has been hired to score the upcoming thriller ISS. The film is directed by Gabriela Cowperthwaite (Megan Leavey, Our Friend) and stars Ariana DeBose, Chris Messina, Pilou Asbaek, John Gallagher Jr., Costa Ronin and Masha Mashkova. The movie follows six astronauts living aboard the International Space Station (ISS) who have to take action after receiving distressing information from Earth that threatens their missions and their lives. Nick Shafir wrote the Black List-honored screenplay. Mickey Liddell (Jackie, The Grey) and Pete Shilaimon (Anthropoid, I Can Only Imagine) are producing the project for LD Entertainment. ISS is expected to premiere later this year.
Nikitin’s other recent projects include the Hulu limited series The Dropout, which will premiere this coming Thursday.
