Decca Records will release a soundtrack album for the new television adaptation of Jules Verne’s classic novel Around the World in 80 Days. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Christian Lundberg (Snatch, Earth at Night in Color, Eleven Eleven) for Bleeding Fingers Music. Also included the series’ theme by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Inception, Dune) and Lundberg. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 30 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Around the World in 80 Days is developed by Ashley Pharoah & Caleb Ranson and stars David Tennant, Ibrahim Koma and Leonie Benesch. The adventure drama follows Phileas Fogg who bets a fortune that he can circle the earth in no more than 80 days and enlists a new valet and attracts a persistent reporter as he sets out on his quest.
